Sheldon Oil Services, Inc. began in 1988, in Albany, NY by providing used oil generators with prompt and professional recycling services. Since then, Sheldon Oil Services, Inc. has grown from a family owned and operated, one-truck operation, to a highly sophisticated, state-of-the-art fleet with a team of trained professionals that provide excellent service to loyal customers across NY, CT, MA, and VT. Since then, we have added many new services and products that we provide to our loyal and growing customer base. Our wealth of knowledge, experience and family values has helped us become a leader in the used oil recycling industry in the northeast.

Sheldon Oil Services, Inc. owns and operates Upstate New York’s first used oil recycling facility.

Sheldon Oil Services, Inc. is the first Upstate NY based company to recycle/process used oil filters helping reduce their impact on local landfills.

Sheldon Oil Services, Inc. is a proud member of the NORA Association. NORA is a trade association that represents over 325+ leading companies in the liquid recycling industry. For more than 35 years, NORA has been defending and promoting the liquid recycling industry. NORA was established in 1985 as the National Oil Recyclers Association with the primary mission of fighting the hazardous waste designation of used oil and aided in the development of the EPA's used oil management standards. The name was later changed to NORA, An Association of Responsible Recyclers as the business functions of the membership grew. Today, NORA represents the leading liquid recycling companies in the following areas: used oil, antifreeze, oil filters & absorbents, parts cleaning, wastewater, chemicals, and environmental services.

ENYCAR is a not-for-profit trade association representing new car retailers and affiliated businesses in thirteen counties of New York State. The Association was incorporated in 1980, first as the Capital District Automobile Dealers Association, and then as the Capital Region Automobile Dealers Association.  Now representing dealers from Kingston to Plattsburgh, we encompass the northeast part of the state, from the Hudson Valley to the Canadian border.
